An Interview with Paul Tucker, a performance artist who lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
TUCKER: Where do you get your ideas?
TANRIVERDI: I try to draw my idea from real life as much as possible, such as things I notice on the street or conversations I overhear.
Before going to our main subject, first I'd like to ask a question about government systems. Would you like to describe to me the role of government?
TUCKER : Despite the variety of forms, each government plays a similar role in each country. The two functions of any goverment are to preserve internal security and defend its citizens from outside forces. In addition, governments today play an increasingly larger role in the domains of welfare, economics, and education.
A second basic function of government is to protect the nation from other nations.
The basic problem a government faces is as a force in social control is establishing a balance between governmental domination and individual liberty.
If a government is excessively hars or corrupt, the personal freedoms and civil liberties of the citizens may be lost.
On the other hand, a government that is excessively liberal and lax in its attempts to promote social order may discover that neither it nor the citizens have any security.
TANRIVERDI : Is the government systems affects on the person's personalities? And would you like to explain to me: How is different between underdeveloped countries person and developed countries person personalities?
TUCKER : Ohhh... boy! Your questions is diffucult than your situation. You know that in the underdevelopment countries some VIP person have underdeveloped personalities... They are not managing themselves. If they were mature, HONEST and normal.....etc....!//?...
